jQueryのテスティングフレームワークQUnit (でぃべろっぱーず・さいど)
jQueryのSubversionリポジトリにtestフォルダがあって、jQuery自身のテストが納められていたのですが、そこで使われているテスティングフレームワークがQUnitとしてトップレベルのプロジェクトになったようです。 QUnit - jQuery JavaScript Library これを使うと簡単にjQueryプラグインのテストコードが書けちゃいます。 使い方は以下の通り。 提供されているメソッド test( name, test ) : nameにテストの名称、testには実行するテストを関数の形で渡します。 module( name ) : テストの途中で、テスト対象のモジュールや関数の目印を付けたいときに使います。nameにはモジュールの名称を渡します。 ok( state, message ) : stateがtrueならOK、falseならNGという判定になります

Web上で見やすいグラフを作成する手法としては、画像で生成する、Flashで生成するかのどちらかが多かった。稀にJavaScriptで生成するタイプもあったが、Canvasタグを使う関係上、IE6では表示できず業務アプリなどでの利用は難しかった。 JavaScriptのみでグラフを表示する だが、例えCanvasを使っていたとしてもライブラリが対応していれば問題ない。そこで試したいのがjqPlotsだ。 今回紹介するオープンソース・ソフトウェアはjqPlots、jQueryベースのグラフ描画ライブラリだ。 jqPlotsはCanvasタグを使っているが、対応ブラウザはIE6〜IE8、Firefox、Safari、Operaとなっている。筆者環境では試していないが、IE6でも恐らく大丈夫なのだろう（ぜひ試していただきたい）。これだけ多数のブラウザに対応していれば一般向けWebサービスでも使え

前回のエントリで取り上げたスクリプトをjQueryプラグイン化した。だけ。GitHubにリポジトリを作って公開しておいた。基本的にはこれでもう良いやとか思ってるんだけど、URLパターンはもうちょっと何とかならないかなとかは思ってる。あとマルチカラーなハイライトを実現できるようにはしたいかも。実装はhighlight-1とかクラス名を順に振っていくだけとか簡単そうなものになると思う(そこまで考えてるなら実装しろ)。 使い方は多くのjQueryプラグインと同じで、 $("body").highlightSearchTerms(); と検索語のハイライトを行いたい要素からつなげて使う。プラグイン側でインライン・スタイルを付加したりはしないので、デフォルトのem.highlightに対してスタイル指定をあらかじめしておく必要がある。 highlightSearchTerms()にはオプションとして
