元ウルティマオンライン開発メンバーが挑戦するインディーズの箱庭系RPG「Shards Online」がKickstarterで公開 | Gamer
独立系ビデオゲーム開発スタジオのCitadel Studiosは、箱庭系RPG「Shards Online」をKickstarterで公開した。 約8ヶ月の開発期間を経て誕生したShardsのプレイアブルなプレアルファ版は、北米のPAX East 2014にて「トップインディーズ MMO」を受賞している。今回、本作のスクリーンショットやプレイ動画が公式サイトで公開された。 Citadel Studiosは「ウルティマオンライン」の元開発チームによって結成され、日本のユーザーにアピールし、今後充分なサポートとコミュニティの支持を得られた場合は本作の日本語版を作りたいとの意欲を見せている。 Citadel StudiosのCEO 兼共同創設者であるデレック・ブリンクマン氏は、「Shardsは、我々にとって無限の可能性を意味しています。それは我々からゲーマーへ、そしてゲーマーが自分自身に提供でき
