Installing Tomcat 6 on CentOS 5

yumでTomcat 6をインストールする - Fight the Future
RHELではデフォルトのリポジトリにTomcat 6はない(Tomcat 5.5まで)。 とりあえずJDKは6にする。OpenJDK版にした（Sun版だと動作しないかも）。 # yum install java-1.6.0-openjdk-develリポジトリにJPackageを追加してyum installする。 # cd /etc/yum.repos.d/ # rpm --import http://www.jpackage.org/jpackage.asc # wget http://www.jpackage.org/jpackage50.repo # sudo yum --enablerepo=jpackage-generic install tomcat6 tomcat6-admin-webapps tomcat6-webapps # chown -RL xxx:xxx /usr
