海外のオタク事情について
日本のカルチャーのひとつと言ってもいいアニメ・漫画産業、近年諸外国でも大変人気はあると聞きます。 実際ヤフーでアニメなんかを検索すると日本並にヒットしますが 実際海外のオタク事情ってどんなものなんでしょうか？ 例えば日本には数千人の漫画家はいるといわれています。 出版業界の主力産業で本屋の一フロアを埋め尽くし 累計１千万部を超える作品が多数ある 「マンガ」と違ってBDやアメコミは売れてるタイトルも作家数も極少数な印象があるんですが。 日本に情報が入ってこないだけで 向こうにも漫画家で稼いでる人って何人もいるんですか？ 分業制だとするとますます生活が苦しそうなのですが。 あとアニメですね。 日本はＣＳ含めると週に何十本ものアニメが放送されているようですが 海外でもそれくらい放送されているのでしょうか？ またその中で日本製アニメと自国のオリジナルアニメの割合ってどのくらいなんですか？ なんか海

Otaku is derived from a Japanese term for another person's house or family (お宅, otaku). The word can be used metaphorically as a part of honorific speech in Japanese, as a second-person pronoun.
