XMLって難しい - Kickstart my heart
以前整形式にするのは難しいってエントリを書いたけど、RSSにするってだけで難しいって事例がAppleから出たようです。Photocastってやつ。Dave Winerのブログ（あれ、Wordpressになったの？）とか、その他を参照。 RSSとしては、日付のフォーマットがあってない、channelにはguidは付けられないっていう大きな問題があるようです。 それに、enclosureとかMedia RSSとかPheedとかいう世に出回っている仕様をきれいに無視してapple-wallpapersとかいうセンスの感じられない名前空間接頭辞を再発明したなんて話も。 大体wallpaperって用途を限定するって何？とか思ったら、どうやらSafariなど特定のブラウザ・RSSリーダーでしか読めないように制限が入ってるそうです。WindowsでIEでもFFでもPhotocastを見ようとすると、「お
