携帯電話としてスマートフォンが一般的になる前、いわゆるガラケー時代に、携帯電話端末の世界シェアNo.1メーカーだったのがフィンランドのNokia（ノキア）です。のちに端末事業はMicrosoftへ買収するなど波乱万丈な時代を経て、現在は通信インフラを担う事業が主となっているようです。 スマートフォン時代になって、外観デザインはどこのブランドもほぼ同じとなってしまいましたが、ガラケー時代には国内・国外メーカー問わずプロダクトデザインとして様々な楽しみがあった時代でした。当時日本人が使う携帯電話端末は国内の端末メーカーが圧倒的シェアを持っていましたが、ドコモやSoftBankでは一部のNokia端末を使うことができました。しかしながら国内でのNokiaの端末の利用には制約が多く、使いづらい点がたくさんあったものの、海外の洗練されたデザインだったので使っている人も多かったはず。当時私はSoftB
