3月11日。日本は、決して忘れることのできない国難を経験した。首都圏でも交通網は翌朝まで完全に麻痺し、携帯電話やSMSもほぼ不通という想像もできないような一夜を過ごすことになった。大混乱の中、Twitterは家族や友人との連絡をとれる手段として貴重な情報パイプラインとなったが、その一方で「製油所の火災で千葉に有害物質の雨が降る」「埼玉の水は危険だ」「筑波大学の連絡で一時間後に茨城にも放射能が来る」などの根拠のない悪質なデマが、Twitterやチェーンメール上を飛び交った。 僕自身、その直後から民と官連携プロジェクト「助けあいジャパン」活動に参加したこともあり、今回の大震災におけるソーシャルメディアの役割、その光と陰についても深く考えさせられた。 そして、その日から、今日はちょうど1ヶ月。多くの識者の書かれたご意見なども参考にさせていただきながら、震災におけるソーシャルメディアの役割を振り返
