Make a dent in the universe
「iPod を作った男」（大谷和利著，アスキー新書）を読み終えた．本書は，Steve Jobs の人間的魅力に焦点を当てながら，iPod など，快進撃を続ける Apple 社について解説するものである．良書だと思うが，ネットには本書の優れた書評がいろいろとあるようなので，ここでは書評はしない．そのかわりに，自分のため，Steve Jobs の言葉についてメモしておきたい． 本書の 150 ページから引用する： スティーブ・ジョブズは，“Make a dent in the Universe” （宇宙に凹みを作る） というスローガンも打ち出していた．「ほんの少しでも良いから，この宇宙に影響を与えたと言えるようなことをしよう」という意味である． これは，自身が関わる製品についての Jobs の哲学ともいえるだろうか．この言葉に大きな感銘を受けた．ただ，より詳しいコンテクストを知るためにネットで
