2012年のLNG(液化天然ガス)輸入額が6兆円を超えた。東日本大震災前の10年と比べると約2兆5千億円増加した。長引く原子力発電所の停止による電力供給不安を緩和するため、電力各社が火力発電の稼働を高めているためだ。火力発電は、発電コストに占める燃料費の構成比率が高い。震災以降、電力供給を火力に依存する構造が続いており、それが燃料輸入額の増加を招いている。停止中原子力プラントの再稼働が遅れれば、国内にお金が投下されず、安倍政権が目指す経済再生の足を引っ張りかねない。 財務省が24日発表した12年の貿易統計(速報)によると、原油・粗油やLNG、石炭などを含む鉱物性燃料輸入額は約24兆円。このうちLNGは購入数量が前年比11.2%増の8731万4千トン、輸入額が同25.4%増の6兆14億9400万円に膨らんだ。 (本紙1面より抜粋) >>ウェブサイトの記事はダイジェストです。より詳しいニュース
