ミクシィは5月22日、同社の運営するソーシャルネットワーキングサービス（SNS）「mixi（ミクシィ）」において、音楽サービス「mixiミュージック」を開始した。 mixiミュージックは、PCで聞いている音楽を自動的にリスト化し、他のmixiユーザーに音楽リストを公開したり、他のユーザーが公開したリストや楽曲にコメントをつけたりできるサービス。有限会社グルコースの技術を採用して開発した専用ソフトウェア「mixi station」をPCにインストールして利用する。利用料金はすべて無料となっている。 iTunes、Windows Media PlayerなどのPC用音楽プレーヤーとmixi stationを起動して楽曲を再生すると、mixi stationが一定間隔で再生した楽曲の曲名、アーティスト名、再生日時といった楽曲情報を取得し、自動的にmixiにアップロードする。楽曲情報をアップロード
