Energy-E2 Research Prize Knud Hojgaard Anniversary Research Prize Henrik Svensmark (born 1958) is a physicist and professor in the Division of Solar System Physics at the Danish National Space Institute (DTU Space) in Copenhagen.[1] He is known for his work on the hypothesis that fewer cosmic rays are an indirect cause of global warming via cloud formation.[2][3][4] Early life and education[edit]

The Earth’s climate is changing and we will, unfortunately, witness some environmental tragedies in our lifetime. One of them is the extinction of various animal species. Today we will discuss one grim prognosis that predicts mass extinction by looking at the past to find answers for the future. How the Current Climate Change Affects Life […] By now, most people in the United States agree that cli
You think man can destroy the planet? What intoxicating vanity. Let me tell you about our planet. Earth is four-and-a-half-billion-years-old. There’s been life on it for nearly that long, 3.8 billion years. Bacteria first; later the first multi-cellular life, then the first complex creatures in the sea, on the land. Then finally the great sweeping ages of animals, the amphibians, the dinosaurs, at

The Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC) is what its name suggests: an international panel of nongovernment scientists and scholars who have come together to understand the causes and consequences of climate change. Because we are not predisposed to believe climate change is caused by human greenhouse gas emissions, we are able to look at evidence the Intergovernmental Pan

Richard S. Lindzen, An Exchange on Climate Science and Alarm, in Global Warming: Looking Beyond Kyoto, Global warming and carbon dioxide through sciences : G. A.
