2009年8月29日、APMT:WEEK最初のイベントとして「BODY HACK electric stimulus to/from body」と題されたワークショップが開催された。 Youtubeにアップロードされた、本人による実験映像があまりにも有名なので、既にご存知の方も多いであろう、electric stimulusシステムの制作者である真鍋大度氏主催のもと、東京工芸大学メディアアート表現学科にて助手を勤める原田克彦氏、生体とアートに関するエキスパートである照岡正樹氏を講師に迎え、行われた。 そんなワークショップの様子を、一参加者目線から写真を交えて振り返る。 electric stimulusは、顔面の筋肉に微量の電流を流すことにより筋肉を刺激し、意図的に表情を作り出そうという、人間の身体をダイレクトに電気で制御する"メディア"として使用した作品である。逆に、同じ素子を用いて、筋
