以前からたまに Selenium IDE は使ってたんですが、・変数っぽいのを使いにくい・共通の処理を関数化できないのが難点でした。今回少々まとまったテストが必要で、上記の問題を解決すべく Selenium RC を使ってみましたのでそのお話。 # ずいぶん長くなったので、Perl 依存のところは次項に回します。使ったバージョンは Selenium RC 0.9.2 です。 ■とにかく動かす Selenium RC の概念については公式ページの概念図見ていただくのが早いかと。Java 製のテスト用サーバを起動してそこにクライアントから繋ぐ形。クライアント側ではいろんな言語が使えるみたいだけど、どれで行こうかな。ひとまず一番慣れてる Perl から試してみたけど、必要なモジュールがたくさんあって面倒そうなのでやめ。CPAN は Perl にとって良い資産なんだけど、そこに依存
