『BLAME！』の「言語基体」
要は「母語」のことなんだけど、現実でも、人間の記憶や認知などの基本的な能力が母語によって形作られている部分があるのかな？第二外国語として英語を習得した日本人がアメリカで長く過ごしていたが、ボケてしまい日本語しか話せなくり、その子は日本語が話せないのでコミュニケーションが大変になるという悲劇的なことがあると聞き、脳のフォーマットみたいな感じで最初に習得した言語が脳の情報処理能力を使う上で支配的になるのかな～これはまるで「BLAME！」って漫画の「言語基体」みたいだ、って思った。(漫画の中の言語基体は異なっていると記憶のバックアップが使えなかったりする)

本イベントは2015年6月開催の「攻殻機動隊 新劇場版×シドニアの騎士 SFコラボナイト」以来、2年ぶりに実施された「SFナイト」。前回は弐瓶、「シドニアの騎士 第九惑星戦役」の監督を務めた瀬下、「攻殻機動隊 新劇場版」総監督の黄瀬和哉、同作の脚本を手がけた冲方の4名が登壇し、SFについて大いに語り合った。今回で2度目の登壇となる冲方は「本日は残念ながら、弐瓶勉さんが引きこもりになられてしまって（笑）」と、弐瓶が連載中の「人形の国」執筆のために来場できなかったことをジョーク交じりに明かし、「でも、ここら辺にいるかのていで楽しくお話しできればと思っております」と挨拶した。
