6/21〜6/27にかけてOrigami USA Convention 2007に出かけてました。現在開発中の三次元折紙ソフトなどもデモしつつ世界中の折紙者と交流してきました。このイベントにまつわる写真はFlickrで公開している人が沢山いますので、ちょっと違った視点から。 会場はNew YorkにあるFashion Institute of Technologyです。建物の外壁が吉村パターンを彷彿とさせます。 ギャラリーから。Origami Corrugation系をピックアップ。一つ目はPolly Verity作品、二つ目はRay Schamp作品。 会場ではノリガミが… ロバートラング作品集… 最終日のラングさんのレクチャーは蛇腹に斜めのイレギュラーな線を入れて引き伸ばすというものでした。日本で「神谷パターン」と呼ばれているものを一般化したようなものです。神谷氏による「こんなパターン
