Monoプロジェクトは13日(米国時間)、「Moonlight 1.0」を正式リリースした。 Moonlightは、Linux向けのSilverlightプラットフォーム。Microsoftが提供するRIA(Rich Internet Application)実行基盤のSilverlightは現在、WindowsとMac OSのみの対応にとどまっており、それを補完する目的で、米Novellの支援を受けるMonoプロジェクトがOSSライセンスの下に開発を進めていた。 今回リリースされたMoonlight 1.0は、Silverlight 1.0に準拠したもの。簡易インストール版と、ビルドが必要なソースコード版の2種類が用意されている。同プロジェクトではすでに、Beta版が公開されているSilverlight 2.0に関しても対応バージョンの開発を進めている。 なお、Monoプロジェクトのリー
