id:pollyannaさんのブログを読んでて、色々考えたことをまとまらないまま書いてみる。話せる話題のタブーは少ないほうがいいじこしょうかい。私の出身高校は工業高校です。高校以降、男女比9:1みたいな世界にずっといます。いやBUだけが例外で、そこでは男女比3:2ぐらいでした。工学部に女性が少ないってのはアメリカ含む海外でも似たよーな傾向ですが、アメリカで決定的に違うなと思ったのは、女性が話してはいけない話題、タブーが殆ど無いことでした。たとえば、NASA、アメリカ軍の最新兵器の話なんかを議論にあげても、みんな男女交えてふつーに話します。日本でそのノリでA-10の話をふったら、年配のエンジニアから「女のくせに軍について語るなんて」とすげえ嫌な顔をされたことがあります。個人的には、性的な話題、差別につながる話題、相手の思想や宗教を貶めるような話題は論外としても、それ以外で「女だから」「男だか
