子どもの甲状腺から放射線検出 8月13日 16時48分 東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の事故のあと、福島県内の１０００人以上の子どもの甲状腺を調べたところ、およそ半数から放射性ヨウ素による放射線が検出されたことが分かりました。専門家は「微量なので、健康に影響が出るとは考えにくいが、念のため継続的な健康管理が必要だ」としています。 この調査結果は、１３日、東京で開かれた日本小児科学会で、広島大学の田代聡教授が報告しました。田代教授らのグループは、国の対策本部の依頼を受けて、今年３月下旬、福島県いわき市や飯舘村などで、１１４９人の子どもを対象に甲状腺への被ばく量を調べる検査を行いました。その結果、およそ半数の子どもの甲状腺から放射性ヨウ素による放射線が検出されたということです。田代教授によりますと、甲状腺への被ばく量は１００ミリシーベルト以上に達した場合に健康に影響が出るとされています。しかし、
