仕様違反のUSB Type-C変換アダプターが売られている話
USB Type-CをUSB Standard-Aに変換するアダプターはUSB Type-Cの仕様的にNGです。はじめに USB Type-Cの変換アダプターを1つぐらい持っている方も多いのではないでしょうか。かくいう私もMicro-BをType-Cに変換するアダプターを緊急用としてカバンに忍ばせてたりします。このように変換アダプターを持っている方も多いと思いますが、その一方で、仕様で禁止されているUSB Type-Cの変換アダプターが販売されているのはご存知でしょうか。例えば、このようなアダプターです。こういった「Type-Cレセプタクル to Standard-Aプラグ」という変換アダプターですが、実は仕様で禁止されています。しかしながらAmazonなどではこういった仕様違反の変換アダプターが平然と売られているので、この件についてちょっと掘り下げてみます。用語の説明早速説
