市民がコードで公共サービスを改善する「Code for Japan」設立
市民がアプリケーションを作り行政サービスを改善することを目指す「Code for Japan」が2013年11月2日、東京大学駒場リサーチキャンパスで設立イベントを開催した。イベントでは米国Code for AmericaインターナショナルプログラムディレクターのCatherine Bracy氏とビデオ会議で意見交換を行い、関連団体がそれぞれの活動を紹介した。 Code for Japanは、市民参加型のコミュニティ運営を通じて、地域の課題を解決するためのアイディアを考え、テクノロジーを活用して公共サービスの開発や運営を支援していく非営利団体。一般社団法人としての登記を10月27日に完了した。米国のCode for Americaをモデルとしている。 Code for AmericaのCatherine Bracy氏はビデオ会議で、イベントに集まった約60人と意見を交換した。Bracy氏は
