CX事業本部@大阪の岩田です。 先日ある環境でECSのタスクがPROVISIONING状態のまま固まって(PENDINGではないのがポイントです！)起動できなくなるという問題が発生しました。※正確にいうとPROVISIONING状態で30分程度固まる→STOPPEDに遷移→新しいタスクがPROVISIONINGされ再度30分程度固まり...という状況です。 最初はNATゲートウェイ周りの設定漏れやECRのVPCエンドポイント設定漏れに起因したよくある問題かと思っていたのですが、色々調査しても一向に原因が分かりませんでした。最終的にECS Execの有効化が原因だったことが分かったので、同じ事象でハマる人が出ないように改めてブログにまとめてみました。 結論 先に結論ですがECS Execを有効化したECSサービスでAuto Scaling グループキャパシティープロバイダーを利用するとタスク

こんにちは、hagiwaraです。 AWS IoTでデバイス(モノ)を初回接続時に自動登録することができます。その方法が2種類あります。Just-in-Time Registration (JITR)とJust-in-Time Provisioning (JITP)です。今回は後者のJITPを試してみました。 前者のJITRについては、高橋さんのブログを参照してください。 AWS IoTを使用しているので「デバイス」ではなく「モノ」という単語を使うべきとも思いましたが、個人的に「モノ」が脳内でゲシュタルト崩壊？してしまったので、「デバイス」で統一しています。 JITRとJITPの違い 両者の異なる点は、デバイスをAWS Lambdaを使用して登録するのか、JSON形式のプロビジョニング用テンプレートを元に登録するのかという点です。CA証明書および検証用証明書をAWSに設定する点は同じです。
