I have a database with hundreds of tables, what I need to do is export specified tables and insert statements for the data to one sql file. The only statement I know can achieve this is pg_dump -D -a -t zones_seq interway > /tmp/zones_seq.sql Should I run this statement for each and every table or is there a way to run a similar statement to export all selected tables into one big sql big. The pg_

I keep getting the following error when doing a migration (python manage.py migrate): django.db.utils.ProgrammingError: column "name" of relation "django_content_type" does not exist I've done the following to try and fix it but without success: I've delete all the migrations files for each model deleted all the records in django_migrations run python manage.py migrate --fake-initial Running Djang
I've read in the React docs that "if" type statements can't be used in JSX code, because of the way JSX renders into javascript, it doesn't work out as one would expect. But is there any reason why implementing an "if" component is a bad idea? It seems to work fine from my initial tests, and makes me wonder why this isn't done more often? Part of my intent is to allow react development to be as mu
I read What's new in Xcode 6. The article introduces some new feature about Xcode 6, and it says: Command Line Xcode’s debugger includes an interactive version of the Swift language, known as the REPL (Read-Eval-Print-Loop). Use Swift syntax to evaluate and interact with your running app or write new code in a script-like environment. The REPL is available from within LLDB in Xcode’s console, or f
When you hover over a card in Trello and press Ctrl+C, the URL of this card is copied to the clipboard. How do they do this? As far as I can tell, there is no Flash movie involved. I've got Flashblock installed, and the Firefox network tab shows no Flash movie loaded. (That's the usual method, for example, by ZeroClipboard.) How do they achieve this magic? (Right at this moment I think I had an ep

Classes as objects Prior to delving into metaclasses, a solid grasp of Python classes is beneficial. Python holds a particularly distinctive concept of classes, a notion it adopts from the Smalltalk language. In most languages, classes are just pieces of code that describe how to produce an object. That is somewhat true in Python too: >>> class ObjectCreator(object): ... pass >>> my_object = Objec
Most questions regarding this problem are due to missing Xcode; I have Xcode 4.2 installed. Scala is a general-purpose programming language principally targeting the Java Virtual Machine. Designed to express common programming patterns in a concise, elegant, and type-safe way, it fuses both imperative and functional programming styles. Its key features are: an advanced static type system with type inference; function types; pattern-matching; implicit parameters and conversions; operator
The uses of jQuery .queue() and .dequeue() Queues in jQuery are used for animations. You can use them for any purpose you like. They are an array of functions stored on a per element basis, using jQuery.data(). They are First-In-First-Out (FIFO). You can add a function to the queue by calling .queue(), and you remove (by calling) the functions using .dequeue(). To understand the internal jQuery qu
In my django application, I'm trying to write a unit test that performs an action and then checks the messages in the response. As far as I can tell, there is no nice way of doing this. I'm using the CookieStorage storage method, and I'd like to do something similar to the following: response = self.client.post('/do-something/', follow=True) self.assertEquals(response.context['messages'][0], "fail
