    Googleは、たとえ中国で検閲された検索エンジンの提供を停止した場合でも、同国に留まることのできる解決策に傾いているのかもしれない。 The Wall Street Journal（WSJ）の記事は、そのように伝えている。WSJは米国時間3月12日、中国政府が検閲されていない検索エンジンの提供停止を強要した場合でも、「Googleが同国から完全撤退しなくても済む方法がある」と報じた。そうなった場合、Google.cnが閉鎖されても、同社の販売やソフトウェア開発、研究などの事業は中国に留まる可能性がある。 何カ月にもわたる交渉と迷いを経て、Googleは近いうちに中国についての決定を下す準備が整ってきたようだ。最高経営責任者（CEO）であるEric Schmidt氏は先週、アブダビでの記者会見で、「まもなく」決定が下されると報道陣に述べた。Googleは1月に中国での検索結果の検閲をこれ以
