グーグルの携帯向け無料地図アプリ、「モバイルGoogleマップ」公開グーグルは8月21日、ドコモ端末向けのiアプリ「モバイルGoogleマップ」を公開した。アプリ利用料は無料（別途、パケット通信費は必要）。 モバイルGoogleマップはiアプリ形式で起動する地図ツール。携帯からで地図や衛星航空写真、地域に結びついたビジネス情報を閲覧できる。PCでGoogleマップを利用するような操作性で地図範囲の移動が行える。 同アプリは日本のほかにアメリカやヨーロッパなど、世界16カ国以上の地図や地域情報を参照できる。対応機種はドコモの903iシリーズ以降。
