日本マイクロソフトはIoT（Internet of Things）への取り組みとして、組み込み機器とクラウド、双方の開発を学習できる.NET Micro Framework対応ボードを発売する。 日本マイクロソフトは2014年10月15日、IoT（Internet of Things）への取り組みとして、組み込みとクラウド、双方の開発を学習できる「Internet of Things Starter Kit」（仮称）を同年11月中旬より若松通商より販売開始すると発表した。価格は9000円前後の見込み。 このキットはCoretex-A9をCPUコアとしたマイコン「RZ」搭載のSAKURAボード「GR-PEACH」をベースとした.NET Micro Framework対応ボードに、加速度センサーと温度センサー、リレーを組み合わせたもの。
