How to add custom logs to CloudWatch? Defaults logs are sent but how to add a custom one? I already added a file like this: (in .ebextensions) files: "/opt/elasticbeanstalk/tasks/bundlelogs.d/applogs.conf" : mode: "000755" owner: root group: root content: | /var/app/current/logs/* "/opt/elasticbeanstalk/tasks/taillogs.d/cloud-init.conf" : mode: "000755" owner: root group: root content: | /var/app/
In ngOnInit, my component obtains a list of users like so: this.userService.getUsers().subscribe(users => { this.users = users; }); And the implementation of userService.getUsers() looks like this: getUsers() : Observable<UserModel[]> { return this.http.get('http://localhost:3000/api/user') .map((res: Response) => <UserModel[]>res.json().result) .catch((error: any) => Observable.throw(error.json()
I'm in the process of making a nicer demo as well as cleaning up some of these services into a usable module, but here's what I've come up with. This is a complex process to work around some caveats, so hang in there. You'll need to break this down into several pieces. Take a look at this plunk. First, you need a service to store the user's identity. I call this principal. It can be checked to see
I'm using Bootstrap. How can I make three columns all the same height? Here is a screenshot of the problem. I would like the blue and red columns to be the same height as the yellow column. Here is the code: <link href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.7/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet"/> <div class="container-fluid"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-xs-4 panel" style="backgro
Before KitKat (or before the new Gallery) the Intent.ACTION_GET_CONTENT returned a URI like this content://media/external/images/media/3951. Using the ContentResolver and querying for MediaStore.Images.Media.DATA returned the file URL. In KitKat however the Gallery returns a URI (via "Last") like this: content://com.android.providers.media.documents/document/image:3951 How do I handle this?
The latest iOS release (8.4.1) seems to have broken our ngCordova app. Our links generally don't open, whether accessed by href directly, ng-click, or ng-href. Some will open after repeated clicking, and the hrefs have a popup menu that allows us to select "open", "copy", or "cancel" if we click and hold on them for a period of time. The problem doesn't distinguish between button or a tag. Some a
My version of node is always v0.6.1-pre even after I install brew node and NVM install v0.6.19. My node version is: node -v v0.6.1-pre NVM says this (after I install a version of node for the first time in one bash terminal): nvm ls v0.6.19 current: v0.6.19 But when I restart bash, this is what I see: nvm ls v0.6.19 current: v0.6.1-pre default -> 0.6.19 (-> v0.6.19) So where is this phantom node 0
I'm having an issue deploying our rails app.. I created a hook like the example on the AWS blog howto http://ruby.awsblog.com/post/Tx2AK2MFX0QHRIO/Deploying-Ruby-Applications-to-AWS-Elastic-Beanstalk-with-Git like: packages: yum: git: [] even I run a bundle package to create vendor/cache to have all the gems there... and still getting: git://github.com/refinery/refinerycms-search.git (at 2-0-stabl
I have a Rails app configured to use Amazon SES via SMTP. When I try and send email, though, it appears to timeout after a minute, and I get an EOFError. It smells like a configuration issue--the email seems to be constructed fine, and I can send myself test emails from the AWS SES console. This is in sandbox mode, and the app is running in development mode, but both the sending and receiving emai
