The Codehaus, the Boo projectは25日(現地時間)、Booの最新版であるBoo 0.7.5を公開した。BooはJavaのようにオブジェクト指向であり、かつ、静的型付で動作するプログラミング言語。C#やVB.NETのようにCLI(Common Language Infrastructure)で動作するように設計されたプログラミング言語で、文法はPythonによく似ている。言語やコンパイラの拡張性が高いという特徴がある。 Boo 0.7.5はBSD Licenseのもとで公開されているオープンソースソフトウェア。静的型付言語であるため、実行速度はC#やVB.NETと同等かそれに近いものだとされている。WinForms/GTK#を使った実装にも対応しているため、すでにデスクトップアプリケーションの開発にも使用できる。 Boo 0.7.5ではたくさんのバグ修正と改善がお
