RCUKとHEFCEのOA方針に対応したリポジトリ向けメタデータ仕様 RIOXX2.0ベータ版公開
2014年6月27日、英国研究会議（RCUK）と高等教育助成会議（HEFCE）のOA方針の要求に従ったリポジトリ向けのメタデータ仕様、RIOXX 2.0のベータ版が公開され、コメントの受付が開始されました。 RIOXX 2.0は英国情報システム合同委員会（JISC）の関係機関であるEDINAが、JISCの助成を受け、RCUKおよびHEFCEと共同で策定したものです。RCUKの助成研究に対するOA方針と、2016年4月1日以降から始まるHEFCEのOA方針の要求に適った情報を提供できるよう企図されています。2013年にはRCUK方針に従った仕様としてRIOXX 1.0も定められていましたが、短期間で作成されたもので不十分であったとして、RIOXX 2.0の開発が進められていました。 RIOXX 2.0ではダブリンコア等の他のメタデータモデルの語彙に加え、RIOXXによる語彙として助成を受けた
