Developers compete at Facebook conference

Michael Balyasny came up with the idea for an application that creates virtual photo tours during his frequent business trips to Ukraine. Several months of coding later, Balyasny, 24, now hopes to launch his self-funded project, called Eyestride, on Facebook, where it will compete with more than 33,000 applications offering games, virtual pokes, quizzes and other pieces of attention-seeking flair.
