ｉＰＳ細胞誕生までの足どり 山中教授講演全文（３）2008年3月24日16時19分印刷ソーシャルブックマーク 講演する山中伸弥さん 私たちの研究室が取り組んできたのは、なんとかＥＳ細胞のいいところは残して、問題点それだけを克服できないかということを大きな目標に研究を行っています。具体的には患者さんご自身の皮膚細胞とかそれ以外の体の細胞から「初期化」という現象を引き起こして、ＥＳ細胞と同じようなそっくりな万能細胞を作れないか。 初期化というのは時計を巻き戻すといいますか、逆戻りさせる、そういう現象のことを初期化といいます。元に戻すという意味です。ですからいったん、皮膚細胞等に完全に、もともと受精卵だったのが２００種類以上のいろんな細胞に分化しているわけですが、その分化の時計を巻き戻せないかということに挑んできました。こういうことがもしできたら、患者さんご自身の細胞を使うわけですから、拒絶反応
