Globule is the research group lead by Guillaume Pierre at IRISA‘s Myriads team. It is dedicated to designing techniques for scalable and dependable cloud computing. Initially, it started with the development of the Globule open-source collaborative content distribution network. It now expands to other related topics such as scalable Web application hosting, Cloud data stores, resource provisioning
