Some random testing. I used Dynamic Paint textures to emit light for Blender 2.5x indirect lightning system. Because the current "indirect lightning" implementation operates on mesh face level, I had to subdivide the walls to get all those small texture details to emit light. This is a tutorial with the main goal to show the texture painting potentiality in Blender 2.55, last release. This tool allows to paint different textures and create a new one that encompasses all the previous ones. When used, it's handy to split the screen in uvmap editor and 3D texture paint in order to see how the texture changes.
