それにしても、このニュースの伝わり方がそもそも気に入りません。まず、資本提携だとか苦渋の選択だという見出しで「ボカして」いますが、実質的には台湾の鴻海（ホンハイ）精密工業グループによるシャープの買収であり、日本の大規模なエレクトロニクスメーカーの一角が、外資の軍門に降ることを意味します。 鴻海は、まずシャープ本体の筆頭株主になる（報道によれば比率約１０％）ことに加えて、主力の液晶事業の中でも重要なカラーフィルター技術を保有した堺工場は、子会社のＳＤＰに移管した上で鴻海のオーナーや関連会社が４６．５％を支配するというのです。ＳＤＰに関しては、シャープ本体が４６・５％、鴻海側が４６・５％という報道資料もありますが、シャープ本体については１０％弱を鴻海が持つのですから、実質はＳＤＰの５１・２％は鴻海のものになります。 こうした買収劇を「資本提携」とか「共存共栄策」などという曖昧な言い方で報道する

「iPhone 5」の販売台数が3日間で5百万台を突破したというニュースは既にお伝えしたとおりです。 その売れ行きもさることながら、アップルがそれだけ膨大な在庫を準備してたことも驚きです。 自分のiPhone 5はいつ頃製造されたものなのか、デバイスのシリアル番号から読みとることができます。 かつてアップルのシリアル番号は11桁で構成されていましたが、2010頃から12桁へと変更。 iPhone 5(および他のアップル製品)では、シリアル番号に下のようなフォーマットが使われています。 シリアル番号を入力すると、自動で解読してくれる便利なサイトもありますが、ちょっと気持ち悪いという方は、以下の情報を元に自分で解読が可能です。 シリアル番号は、「設定」>「一般」>「情報」、もしくはパッケージのシールで確認できます。 「FFF」= 工場・ロケーションコード 工場およびロケーションを表すコード。
