試しにやってみたら、ちゃんと届きました。これって、もしかして、常識だったのかしら A^^;; リナカー氏によれば、当面の間、英国とドイツの既存のGmailユーザーには何の変更もないという。新規ユーザーでも「@gmail.com」のアドレスに送られた電子メールを受け取ることができる。これはGoogleがgmail.comとgooglemail.comのドメインで同じスペースを使っているためで、例えばa@gmail.comの名称を登録すれば、a@googlemail.comのアドレスも確保される。英国とドイツ以外でも、a@gmail.comとa@googlemail.com宛てに送られたメールは同じ受信箱に届く。 [ ITmediaニュース：Google、英国でGmailの名称利用を中止 ]
