This post is to describe one cause of memory growth/leaks, potentially leading to OutOfMemoryException, on Windows. It can surface after an app has been updated from .NET 6 or lower to .NET 7 or higher, but can also happen in new or non-updated apps. This particular probl em is one I have come across several times here in support. Since my focus is on the web side of things I've only seen it in ASP
