インスタントコマースを展開するBASEは6月27日、個人向け決済IDサービス「PAY ID」の提供を開始した。IDの利用登録は無料で、まずは同社が運営するコマースプラットフォーム「BASE」の約20万店舗で利用が順次可能となる。 PAY IDはあらかじめ利用ユーザーが取得したIDにクレジットカード情報や届け先住所を登録することで、対応する店舗にて決済する際、ID認証だけで購入を完了できる仕組み。米Paypalが最大手として幅広く利用されているものとほぼ同じ考え方だ。利用したいユーザーはここから登録ができる。 店舗側は簡単な導入手順で購入者に向けてPAY IDの決済画面を提供することができる。 また導入したい店舗側はPAY.JPが提供するAPIを組み込むことで、自社のサービスにて都度決済や月額課金などの各種決済を開始することができる。料金体系も初期費用や月額費用が不要で、各クレジット会社に応
