写真論（レタッチの本当の意味を理解する）
■記憶色、期待色の再現 おそらくフィルム（写真）業界や印刷業界だけの業界用語だと思われますが、 ”記憶色”や”期待色”という言葉があります。 ”記憶色”とは、撮影者がある風景や被写体を撮影した時、 自分の脳に記憶されるその情景の色の事です。 ”期待色”とは、写真や印刷において、「こういう色に出来上がって欲しい」と 期待している色の事です。 そして”記憶色”も”期待色”も実際の真の色とほとんどの場合において異なる色なのです。 たとえば、撮影者が綺麗な「南国の青い空とエメラルドグリーンの海」に感動して 写真を撮ったとします。その時、撮影者には感動という主観が加わる事でより 誇張された青い空とエメラルドグリーンの海が脳に記憶されるのです。 もし、その時撮影された写真が実際のものにより近い色で再現されると、ほぼ例外なく 「この写真は、なんか違う。全然感動が伝わって来ない」とガッカリするのです。 そ
