地球の生命はどこから来たのだろうか。生命を形づくる有機物の起源について、これまで「原始地球で自然発生した」「有機物を含む隕石などによって地球外から供給された」などのシナリオが議論されてきた。だが、今回、それらとは異なる第三のシナリオを大きく前進させる成果が得られた。 古川善博(ふるかわ よしひろ)東北大学理学研究科助教らが、小林敬道(こばやし たかみち)物質・材料研究機構主幹研究員、関根利守(せきね としもり) 広島大学大学院理学研究科教授らと共同で、隕石の衝突模擬実験を行ない、複数種類のアミノ酸の他、DNAやRNAの構成物質である核酸塩基が生成することを実験で明らかにしたのだ。無機物を使った衝突実験で核酸塩基が生成されたのは世界で初めてであり、隕石衝突の衝撃によって生命の「素」が形成されるという、中沢弘基(なかざわ ひろもと) 博士が提唱したシナリオ※1を大きく後押しする実験結果である。

「引越社の恫喝動画」とブラック企業狩りの真相：日経ビジネスオンライン

howmをやめてOrg-modeでメモを取ることにした - Hoge Piyo Fuga
今までちょっとしたメモなんかを取る際にはhowmを使っていたのだが、 そもそも1メモ1ファイル（しかもファイル名が日付！）というのが自分には向いていないということに気づいた。 howmのファイルならバッファ名を見出しにするとか、helmで見出し一覧見れるようにするとかやっていたのだが自分の力不足もありなかなか思うようにいかない！ そこで今まではあまりに高機能すぎて使いこなせないだろうと触るのをためらっていたOrg-modeをメモ取り用に使うことにした。 org-modeの設定には下記のサイトを参考(丸パクリ)にした。 Ochiailab Tips: [Emacs] org-modeでメモ取ったりする org-mode + remember-mode でEmacs内で瞬時にメモをする メモを取っていくための設定 org-modeはメモにTODO管理、アウトラインプロセッサ、表計算に文書作成

「山形の百姓」 菅野芳秀 いつまでこんな連中を相手にしなければならないのだろう。毎日新聞（10月5日）の社説のことだ。それを読んでからずっとムカムカしている。 「農業の強化を妨げるな」と題したその文章には「今年の新米が、前年より高めの値段で出回り始めた」、「米価の高止まりは生産性の低い零細農家の温存につながり、担い手への農地集約を妨げかねない」、「高い米価が維持され、生産性の低い農家が存続すれば、農地集約も進まない」よって、米価を上げないだけでなく、補助金も削減しろという。いままで何回も繰り返されてきた農業タタキ、農家タタキが書かれている。いったい「高い」という根拠はどこにあるのだろう。 実際のところ、今年の米価も暴落の中にある。仮渡金とはいえ、今年は1俵/60ｋｇあたり10,000円。昨年は8,500円だった。おそらく最終価格に各種補助金が加わっても1,000〜1,500円前後が上がるだ
