日本消費者連盟関西グループ発行「草の根だより」2014年1月号掲載記事に加筆 2014年5月加筆 福島県が実施している健康管理調査で、子供たちから多くの甲状腺がんが見つかっています。2014年5月19日に開かれた県民健康管理調査検討委員会では、28万7056人の検査結果確定者のうち甲状腺がんと診断された人は50人、がんの疑いは39人と報告されています。 調査を担当する鈴木真一福島医大教授はこれまで「甲状腺がんは最短で4~5年で発見というのがチェルノブイリの知見。今の調査はもともとあった甲状腺がんを把握している。」と福島第一原発事故の影響を否定してきました。鈴木教授らは、「子どもの甲状腺がんの頻度は100万人に1~2人といわれるが、通常はしこりを感じる本人の自覚症状などで数センチ大になってから見つかるケースが多い。今回のように18歳以下全ての子どもを対象に精度の高い超音波検査を実施した例
