COSO内部統制フレームワークの改訂 2013 COSO内部統制フレームワークが20年ぶりに改訂され、2013年5月14日に公表されました。 1992年に米国で公表されたCOSO内部統制フレームワークは、内部統制に関するグローバルスタンダードとして、世界の主要国で内部統制の整備や運用・評価の基準として広く活用され、わが国の内部統制報告制度や金融検査マニュアル策定の際にも参照されました。今回の改訂は、従来のフレームワークにおける内部統制の定義や評価・管理方法を大きく変えるものではなく、この20年間における多角化、グローバル化、IT化、ビジネスモデルの変化など、さまざまな変化を取り込んだものです。 米国SEC登録企業だけでなく、従来のフレームワークを参照してきた多くの企業・組織にとっても、改訂版を通じてグループや組織全体の内部管理の現状や今後のあり方を点検する良い機会になると期待されます。
