A toolkit for building streaming audio projects, featuring Polyphonic Playback, Recording, Synthesis, Analysis, Effects, Filtering, Mixing, Multiple Simultaneous Inputs & Outputs, and Flexible Internal Signal Routing. All audio is CD quality (16 bits, 44.1 kHz) and streams automatically as your Arduino Sketch Runs Tutorial Tutorial examples from this video are available in Arduino, from File > Exa
Using The Teensy Loader on Mac OS X Update: Teensy 3.0 is supported by Teensyduino. After installation, Teensy Loader is in hardware/tools. It is run automatically when using Verify or Upload within the Arduino software. This version on this web page has not been updated for Teensy 3.0. Please install Teensyduino to use Teensy 3.0. Recent Blog Posts Refractions – LED Art Installation Michael Horn has designed and programmed a beguiling LED art installation in coordination, Refractions, with fabricators MGA Sculpture Studios. Five 7×5′ panels with embedded lighting create the illusion of waves along the static metal sculpture. Five Teensy 4.0 boards coordinate the animation of 35′ long WS2815 strips, which […] Game Boy (SameB
The "Unusable PWM" pins can be used normally, with digitalRead() or digitalWrite(), but their PWM function controlled by analogWrite() will not work properly, because AltSoftSerial uses the timer which controls that pin's PWM feature. Yet another alternate software serial exists for only Arduino Uno, using timer2 and pins 3 and 4. It appears to only work with the ATMEGA328 chip on Uno. Basic Usage
Teensy® USB Development Board The Teensy is a complete USB-based microcontroller development system, in a very small footprint, capable of implementing many types of projects. All programming is done via the USB port.
OneWire Library OneWire lets you access 1-wire devices made by Maxim/Dallas, such as temperature sensors and ibutton secure memory. For temperature sensors, the DallasTemperature library can be used with this library. OneWire communicates with 1-wire devices. To act as a 1-wire device, use the OneWireSlave library. Hardware Requirements OneWire requires a single 4.7K pullup resistor, connected bet
CAUTION: Save your work! Unexpected keystrokes can quickly ruin your program. When you select "USB Keyboard" from the Tools -> USB Type menu, the Teensy becomes a USB keyboard and mouse while running your program. Your PC or Mac will detect a new keyboard. Then your program can send keystrokes which your computer will recognize as coming from a standard USB keyboard. There are two ways you can mak
HUB ISP - Solving the USB-Only "Chicken or Egg" Problem Many excellent ISP (In System Programming) designs exist for 8 bit AVR microcontrollers. However, most require a pre-programmed microcontroller, or the "Chicken or Egg" problem: you can't program microcontrollers unless you have one already programmed. Parallel Port or Serial Port solutions have existed, but many modern computers no longer ha
The Teensy USB Development Board is a complete USB-based microcontoller development system. Only a standard Mini-B USB cable (sold separately) is needed to connect to a PC or Macintosh. This version has solder pads for all I/O signals. The Teensy is also available with the header pins to plug directly into a solderless breadboard. All Teensy boards are shipped assembled and fully tested. Pins Teen
Teensyduino is a software add-on for the Arduino, to run sketches on the Teensy and Teensy++! Running Sketches on the Teensy Most programs written for Arduino work on Teensy. All of the standard Arduino functions (digitalWrite, pinMode, analogRead, etc) all work on Teensy. Teensyduino is also compatible with many Arduino libraries. Teensy is not limited to only serial device type. The Tools > USB
