im my file server, i like keeping the hard drives spandown as much as possible to save power usage, as the data drives can normaly go for hours without being accessed. i have set hdparm to send the drives to sleep 10min after there is no access. only problem im having is that jbd2/sda1-7 which appears to be part of ext4s journaling spins up all my hard drives within 2 min of them spinning down. if

Well, I still don't have my wireless issue fixed. Realtek sent me a new driver. Now they are telling me that I need to turn the radio on. The Shuttle X50V2 All-in-one touchscreen pc does dot have a switch to turn the wireless radio on or off. How to I turn on/off the radio from a standard keyboard or via software config? How can I tell if the radio is on or off? Thanks in advance for your help!
the router is a linksys wrt54gs2 v1 for some reason, my wireless nic won't connect to the router. It will find it, but it won't connect.this has happened to every wireless network i've tried to join. ethernet rj-45 works fine(wired)
