Freeze at the 2:00 mark. Look at the “X” right under the guy’s wrist. It is way out of place for the paper pattern. Obviously an extra piece.
@CiaraMK sent me this amazing illusion. Click on the image to open it as large as possible and wait for it to get running. Then, when you cover up the centre of the image with your hand the dots will appear to speed up. Cover up the edges and they slow down. Does it work for you?
Thanks to everyone who took part in the fun experiment yesterday. There was a big difference between left and right handers, suggesting that handedness does indeed affect the perception of the duck-rabbit illusion. The other day I came across this and it made me laugh. What is the first thing you see when you look at this?
