4年前に原美術館での個展で衝撃を受けて以来、 個人的にもっとも気になる作家の一人である オラファー・エリアソンの個展を見てきました。 場所は、冬の金沢、21世紀美術館。 エリアソンの作品は、 展示空間の中で、光や水を素材に、 ちょっとしたシンプルな"仕掛け"をつくることで、 人が"普通"見ている自然現象とのずれを生み出し、 見る人の感覚を呼び覚ますようなインスタレーションがメイン。 21世紀美術館の広い空間を生かした、 期待にたがわぬ、素晴らしすぎる展示でした。 注）以下は今回の作品についてなので、 これから行く方で事前情報を得たくない方は飛ばしてください。 * 広い展示空間に入ると、水平に走るサーチライトのような光。 その光の筋は、途中に置かれた透明なボックスのところだけ、きれいに途切れている。 ■Your making things explicit / 見えないものが見えてくる (2
