1980年代、ホビー用途を中心とした個人向けパソコンというと、本体の上にキーボードを載せた製品が割と一般的だった。これを一般家庭のテレビやCRTなどにつないで使用するスタイル。その後、性能の向上とともに、本体部分とキーボード部分が分離した形に進化し、現在ではディスプレーの側に本体が入っているタブレットや一体型機が当たり前になっている。 そんな昔話をなんとなく思い出したのが、テックウインドの「キーボードPC WP004」。昔懐かしい、キーボード一体型のWindowsパソコンだ。 教育現場やデジタルサイネージ用途を想定。発売は2016年1月中旬を予定しているとのこと。 もちろん時代は進歩していて、Windows 10を搭載。製品の表面積が広い分、小型デバイスと比較して放熱性に優れており、冷却ファンも不要とのこと。ほぼ無音状態で稼働するため、静音性を求める環境に最適だそうだ。また、パソコンとキー
